I would have to assume that the previous owner did all the standard stuff when it was new (throttle stop, gray wire, air box opened up, remove the small baffle in the muffler. Can you confirm all that? From there just look thru the various threads to find out what is being done to that bike.

I bet it already has the throttle stop changed. The bike feels like a 200cc with the stock throttle stop. Literally no fun at all.

Yep.

Definately get a slip-on. Don't bother modding stock can.

I absolutely love the GYTR oval slip on muffler on the '05/'06 WR's.
It makes awesome power from bottom to top. They are a bit loud and heavy, but they are really good quality.

I got a Procircuit system on my 450, and I wouldn't hesitate to get a T4 slip on for it. Noise is the only issue.

There is plenty of slip on's available, and they all pretty much have quiet inserts available for them. I got a 98dB GYTR pro-power slip on for the 250, it is great and the noise is not too bad at all.

Any slip on is going to make a big difference. :bonk:
