On another note, has anyone every tried a 450 with a FWW? Would it make sense on such a bike?

I run the heavier of the two GYT-R flywheels, and IMO, it's what the bike should have been built with. :moon:

Does the heavy flywheel take away the hit? Or does it make it easier to ride on tight trails?

That's a Clarke "2.6". It's in quotes because it actually holds 2.8.

No, it still hits hard, but it bites better, and pulls at low speeds more smoothly.

And yes, it makes the engine more manageable at low speeds, but both differences are more subtle than you might imagine. Noticeable, yes, but not night and day different.

Here is my 08. I run the heaviest GYTR flywheel weight.
Best setup bike I have ever owned.

I just bought another 08 that I am currently putting together. It will be just like the other one but I am putting a 13.5-1 CP piston in the bigbore kit.

You've spent all that money on the bike and use that for a stand?
