03' model sold in 02' green sticker?

Hi, is it true that if you bought a 03 model 2 stroke in 02', that it would be green sticered? :confused: Thanks

No. The regulation is applied by the VIN and not the date the vehicle was sold.

02 n older only, BUT many people say they have a green on their 03s, BUT its not technically correct. CA DMV is known to make mistakes and gives em out sometimes.

Red sticker!!!

Also be very careful if your looking for a 02 or older green sticker bike. I looked at a few bikes that were from 2000 to 2002 that were red stickered. I was told they turned red stickered because they didn't keep up on the registration. So if your looking at a 02 or older bike make sure the sticker is up to date. :thumbsup:
