Desert Blaze FastPitch: Your best defense against a steal attempt in Barstow!
History has shown us that certain nefarious individuals see the LA-B2V as an opportunity to liberate motorcycles from their rightful owners, especially during the overnight stay in Barstow. Don’t let this happen to your trusty steed! Leave your bike in the Desert Blaze FastPitch bike paddock.
Desert Blaze is a 501-C3 charitable organization which supports a girls fast pitch softball team based in the high desert. These 11-14 year old girls are regionally ranked, and have earned the right to compete in a National tournament in Florida next spring. Your generous, TAX DEDUCTIBLE, donation will help make this trip possible.

The paddock will be staffed from 1:00pm Friday to 9:00am Saturday by members of the team and their parents/supporters (some of whom have professional experience dealing with the less savory elements of our society). The team will provide a well lighted area where riders can make necessary repairs without holding a flashlight in their mouth (you know who you are!) while the rest of us enjoy the evening secure in the knowledge that our bikes will still be there Saturday morning. Each rider will be given a numbered ticket in return for a suggested $10.00 donation. This ticket must be presented on Saturday morning in order to retrieve your bike.
