A fellow TT'er made these at home. Just got them installed and thought I would share.Posted ImagePosted ImageThey can be made to your specs. I wanted Thin Flange, 2" Hole, 1 1/4" Snout. They are stainless steel and I am going to have them Chrome Dipped soon. The guy does real nice work and if anyone is interested let me know and I will set you up with him. I am working on making a spark arrestor insert for when offroad.

P.S. My bike sounds like a freakin' Harley Now.[IMG]http://[/IMG]

Nice, looks like your bike has a twin exhaust with that extra storage can.

Rock Monster i'm jealous! I'm still digging those red pipe plugs you used. Once I get back from vacation I hope to hunt for them at the hardware store. I'm sold on remaking my tool box to mirror your set up.

I know, I just wish the end caps came in black or maybe a nice blue. I think I would prefer black.

Sure do love the way this thing rumbled all day long and my riding buddy said he can hear me now when he is leading.

Ok! I'm back from vacation and didn't waste anytime swapping out my Mock XR Tip tool box with the Red End Cap type. I couldn't be happier. Thanks again RockMonster for the great idea!

Hey Rock Monster, If they're stainless why not just polish them out? Would be cheaper and last longer than chrome. Looks better too IMO.

I was wrong they are not stainless, just mild steel, so I will have to coat them with something. Thanks though Paul!

Well in that case, I vote CHROME!! LOL. Yellow or red would look good back there too.

Chrome Tips and Black is Back! I painted the tips, ground off the rivet things on the stock exhaust and sanded smooth and repainted with Stove Paint, and turned those red caps into blackness! Lots of little work that pays off!

What is the switch for on the left side panel, the red on/off switch in the pic above?

That switch powers my 12 acc plug underneath the battery box. Because air pumps are always on, I wanted to be able to switch it on/off

But the Edge is so small. I'm worried it won't give off enough light for people to see me stopping. I don't have any experience with it though, nor have I ever seen one working. I have seen pics but they don't really give you a good idea of how much light they produce. Besides, wait until you see the Diamond Plate Brake light bracket that I will post up later today.

Ive fitted a Hein Gerick LED similar to the edge, believe me its bright! Any way its people seeing me coming I'm more concerned about!
