i noticed a rattling/ grinding noise that lasts for ~1 second in my 09 near the lower regions (more to the left) when i'm accelerating but it comes on only in 2nd and 3rd gear. at speeds of 10-30mph, it comes on intermittently and is quite difficult to replicate. doesn't come on when i accelerate reeeeally slooowwww. any idea on what could it be? is it even normal? sry in advance if i'm beating a dead horse.

Don't lug the motor so much. 3rd gear at 10-30 seems like you're trying to get too many MPG's..
