Now I see this thread! I was flipping through the channels and got excited that supermoto was on, but I was too late and it was done.

unfortunately, the only way i would be able to catch that is if i record it :bonk:
i wish there was a mainstream cable channel dedicated to motorcycles. speed spends much too much time on b.s. like unique whips, monster trucks, low rider b.s., etc.. IMHO

There was, it was called Speedvision. Speedvision was awesome, they used to show Dakar, Baja, snowmobiles, quads, air plane races, you name it. Then it changed to the Speed Channel, it eats donkey taints.

Not to mention WRC coverage which I now can't get any where on this side of the pond. They should just rename it the NASCAR channel. :moon: and be done with it.

hpiguy you beat me to it. All my motorcycling friends and I refer to it as the Nascar channel too.

Maan I miss watching the in-cockpit footage from WRC!!! Could someone at SPEED please shave off an hour of senseless NASCAR hum-drum for something exciting??! (Oh wait, I guess they did show some Supermoto today... Ok, well MORE non-NASCAR stuff then!! )

I was JUST having this same talk with a friend last night! When it was Speed Channel, it was awesome! They showed all kinds of cool stuff and had those awesome commercials with the motorcycle cop, anyone remember those??? Now it's just garbage. It's the "All Nascar Network". I will admit, I do like that show "Pass Time" I think it's called. They do show Moto GP as well, but I miss all the other stuff. The Jet Sprint boat racing was bad ass as was the Rally Racing. I also miss the show Motorsports Mundial.

if everyone on this forum sent a email to speed TV and told them whats up maybe we can make a change . but dont forget 11-18-08 9am todays race was great they got rid of the fake jumps and now use dirt jumps its like it was in the start . i DVR it and i'll be turning it on lots to get pumped before i go riding

I remember the jetboats, those things were badass :thumbsup: ! It is not nearly as good as it once was, but almost nothing is anymore :cry: .

Yeah, I was all set to spill the shillings for premium cable just at the time Speedvision took a dump. Kinda glad they did, saves me a butt-load on cable bills. IMHO, Speedvision was the only thing worth watching on all 200 channels.

I'm so sick of nascar talk shows and if I see another monster truck I'm going to puke on my remote. Every freakin morning with the monster trucks.
