Last thing I'd like to hear is what's the weight difference between the titanium Yoshi and the ss MRD.

Why did you/Dave ended up setting the price $30 over their most expensive exhaust system?

becuase its far more complicated than the normal MRD system.

he had to make specific tapered dies to make the proper transitions.im suprised its not $100 more!

i have no control of the pricing.i make $0 on the pipe unless i sell it to customer having a bike built in my shop.

thats 100% up to dave.

i know that prices of materials forced him to raise prices recently.

remember, these are 100% hand made by a real craftsman.

I'm fairly positive that in the worst case, you'll get paid with a great karma. There's not so many guys out there who are as devoted to developing and sharing results as you. Thank you for being that guy :worthy:
Any ideas about the weight?

What's up with that popping? Running too lean or is it common with the big engine?

all the built motors seem to pop to some extent. shoot, every stock dirtbike starts popping once you put an open pipe on it.

looks like i had my motor done to early . i have the yosh titanium , but im happy !!!! sounds great , eddie would it be worth to change pipes on my motor . is this new pipe lighter then the yosh titanium ? would i get more HP with the change ? and would i have to have it dyno to get the most out of it ? for the money and time , i think i'll stay with the yosh .

My bike (now that the pilot circuit is finally jetted right) pops on decel just very slightly. When you let of the throttle in 5th in the vid, the bike pops a lot. Even though it seems like a pretty slow deceleration.
Just wondering what makes the popping so significant.

If you look at the dyno results, you can see they make the same power. The MRD is just slightly smoother.
Your Yosh is lighter so I would stick to it.

Did you see this statement on MRD's website "If your pipe fails or is damaged in a crash, MRD will fix it free of charge." :worthy:

I have dented 2 Yosh RS3 canister sleeves trail riding. I replaced it only to dent it again. The dent very easily if you drop the bike trail riding.

I was down at OTD SSW a couple of weeks ago and saw the MRD pipe Eddie had on the new CRF. These pies are very well made and look tough. Should be able to survive a trail riding drop better than the Yosh.

the throttle is closed at 100mph and the 1200lb drum is still spinning the motor at full speed.if i used the air brake on the dyno it wouldnt do that.i dont use the air brake becuase the heavy decel is good for ring seal.

they dont pop like that under normal riding.

your bike would pop just as much on the dyno.

ive heard "my bike barely pops" a million times and that same customer about jumps out of his shoes when he hears his bike on the dyno.
