Details are limited at this time but there is going to be a new off road WORCS-style series held at Pacific Raceways in Kent utilizing both the off road trails and the MX track.  I think the WORCS course there this past summer was nine miles total so I would guess it will be similar.

The six race dates are November 22, December 20, January 3, February 7, March 14, and April 18.  Bikes race on Saturday, quads race on Sunday.  Practice at 9:00, racing at 11:30.  $500 pro purse, $250 Pro/am purse.  Big bikes $40, minis $30.

Also, details are still limited but it looks like the off road areas at PR may be open for practice dates soon also.

This sounds fun! Funny thing, I was on the website yesterday and saw that XC-MX race in November and was trying to find more info on it because Pacific Raceways is close to me and sounds like good practice.

Haven't done a series in a while and might do this one...a 3 minute drive from my house, only 1 race a month and there are kids races as well for my son.

It's coming... some local racers might be helping the raceway to get things rolling and it should include promoting the series.. hopefully something will come out sooner than later before the first event but keep checking here and spreading the word!

Looks like the November date is off the calender. How long is the trail network out there? Typical NW woods and roots stuff? I only ask because I am overseas and can't get out there to check it out.

The course will be laid out this weekend.  Combination of woods (single track & atv-width two track), clearcut, and MX track is all on the agenda.  Will most likely utilize quite a bit of the WORCS course from the last race there this summer.  I will not be there this weekend but have talked to some of the guys that will be.

Thanks!

A few of us will be helping out this weekend as Wiz said to lay out the course and meet with the race promoter/organizer.  We should know more then...maybe sooner.  I know as anyone of us finds out, we will be sure to post here.
