Scratch in fork tube

Already searched and I know I've seen advise in here before but I coudn't find it. Can anyone give me some tips on removing some scratches from fork tubes? Thanks.

If they are not too deep, you should be able to sand them out in a cross hatch pattern with 400 grit wet/dry paper. If they don't come out reasonably well, the tube can be replated.
