Klx/Drz 100 Questions?

I know there's a post site for these bikes, but I was hoping a knowledgable father would out there somewhere.
Can these compete with the Kx65? My boy wants to replace his stolen Xr70 and I thought the xtra 40cc might be better
to go with.

There is a KLX/DRZ 110--is that what you are referring to? There's also a KX/RM 100 2-stroke. We have the KLX 110 4-stroke and it is a great bike, but it doesn't compete with the KX65. Slower, no hit, a little less suspension, more weight, drum brakes. We love it, but it's not a motocross bike, it's a trail bike and a great pit bike. It kills the XR80, PW80 and TTR90. It almost kills our XR100, but with five speeds (and our XR100 has a pipe on it) the XR100 is still faster.
