I just saw a picture of Chad Reed's old San Manuel YZ450 and noticed there is an adjustment wheel instead of a locking nut for the rear axle blocks to adj. chain. My question is this available for anyone to buy or is this one of those trick works things?

What you are talking about is not evident in this picture:

Maybe if we ever figure out what it is you think you saw, we could comment.

I will see if I can find the picture info. Here goes. http://www.racerxill....0000001239.jpg
Enlarge the image and look at the axle block adj. screw, it seems to have a wheel towards the front edge to do manual adj. rather than using a wrench.

Sorry this didn't work, but I think if you enter the site manually it will work. I just found out that Gray also posted this pic to show how the team did a breather hose re-route.

Have you thought about looking in the Common Threads sticky?

Is this the picture? I don't see much of an advantage. But then, I adjust my chain maybe once a year.

Yes, that was it. I had just noticed this and was wondering if it was avail. for everyone. I seem to have problems with my chain "stretching" when riding in muddy conditions for a long weekend ride and it even fell off once when a stick hit the chain. and thought this would be nice to just be able to turn the wheel and whammo correct chain tension.

A better chain might be a wiser investment.
