It is awesome, using the IRC protocol...
Just go to the main page at www.thumpertalk.com and look on the upper right hand corner, you will see the chat live menu, just click on it and follow the prompts.
A bunch of us are going to hook up saturday night for the live supercross feed....

Yeah, IRC is the way to go.....I tried the java chat off of the TT homepage, but it was so slow it basically locked up my computer.

I had a go on it yesterday, it is nice and easy to use. It will get pretty crowded in there until they break it up like they have done with the forums. I was speaking to the guy who runs it when i was in there and he said this was the plan.

Would you happen to have the server info for using a direct IRC client? It has been sooooo long since I used it...even tho I still have mIRC installed...

If you want to access the room through IRC, you must first manually add the thumpertalk server to the existing list of servers in the options folder. Once you get IRC opened, the options folder should come on the screen as a pop-up. If not, the options folder is near the top left corner of the screen. I believe the folder is marked with pics of tools, maybe a hammer & screwdriver. Once you have the options folder opened, click "Add". You can then manually add the server, which is thumpertalk.net. Make sure to change the port to 7500.
