It's Jan 10-12th at Javits Convention Center. Honda is on the card so is it possible the CRF 250 is going to be there? If they have it posted on their site why wouldn't they bring it or are they?

Please say YES! I called 3 dealers and as usual no one knows a thing.

You think they would to promote their product and get everybody excited. Someone has to know?

The CRF 250 and 250X were at the Denver motorcycle show.

You mean you saw it and didn't post anything about it? That's your duty - to fill us in! What's the scoop? Know the weight or any close up details we might not know? Is it coming with the renthal bars stock?

I would take that as a yes then for the NY show if it's been at denver.

Was at L.A. as well. They did not have anyspecifics on it as it is still in the early stages of R&D. So the Honda rep stated. And actually it had an empty case with no internals. But it sure is a sweet looking ride.

And none of you guy's took a pic of it for T.T. members.

Huffa, I'll be there early, around 9:00. What time do you think you'll be there? I'll be wearing a black Spy hat and a Fox black fleece pullover with yellow sleeves, I'll probably be with 4 other people. Hopefully we'll hook up.
I'll be the one drooling all over the 250X.

hey... if you get board and remember ... ask honda if they will be california legal (green sticker). if so i'd wait for one to buy<G>

As was mentioned, the CRF250R and CRF250X where at the Denver show. I didn't write it up since the bikes were more like concept cars than production models. The seats on both were hard plastic painted black and red (but chipping), the kickstarter, clutch and shifter were not connected to anything and the odometer on the 250X was not connected to anything at the hub. It was fun to see them, but they weren't the real thing.

They also had one of RC's CR250R Supercross bikes and the famous XR650 Baja bike. The XR650 was still covered with dirt and looked exactly like the bike on the cover of the January issue of Dirt Bike.

Yamaha had production WR250F and WR450F bikes you could sit on and heft. They looked good, but are sure tall!
