Ive changed the engine oil on my wr400 and the manual says put new oil in the frame.

Do i put it through the dipstick hole? As i know on some wr's they go in the crankcase

Thanks

yes in the 400/426 it goes in the dip stick hole, on the steel framed 450's it goes into the engine on the left side case, not sure on the new alli framed bikes.

Also, when checking the oil do not thread the dipstick in. Just set in the hole until the threads touch. I think it's close to 1.75 qts.
