Where do you guys buy batteries for your WR's at? I've tried two "sealed" batteries from MK Battery and they have both leaked acid out of the vent holes. So can you all point me in the right direction?

Dealer, store that sells motorcycle accessories or look for Yuasa batteries in your local area.

I should have mentioned that before. I tried the dealer and they want $185, yes I said $185 for the Yuasa battery for the WR. I'll kick start the thing before I pay that for a battery.

I hate to sound like a Commercial! But I just bought some parts from the Thumper Talk OEM parts store. I was fustrated by my local Dealership whom I have been buying from for many many years and we are on first name basis. I even told him he needed to get his act together.

So I called the TT store and the prices on OEM parts were significanly lower than what the dealer had just quoted me. Of course they were not in stock so I had to wait several days anyway.

My battery went out and i tried the kicking thing for the past few months.

Well... I 'm over that now... I ordered a "clone" battery and have had no problems.

I just picked mine up from rockymountainatv.com...

$75 for a no maintenance Yuasa...no dealing with acid and $50 cheaper then the dealer. They also had a cheaper one that got decent reviews too for $48.
