92-96 97-99 00-01 02-07: those are the frame generations of CR250 going back 20 years anyway. So, no - it won't fit.

I know when the generations switched. I was just curious cause they look almost identical even though the caliper mount is different I think. I found out from checking the web that a 02+ cr125 swing arm will fit a 02+ cr250. You just have to use the bearing collars for a 250.

I'm looking to update my old 1998 CR250 fenders and get away from the flourscent red color.  I know that I can put an 04-07 CR red front fender on the 98, but is there any rear fenders I can put on to match the CR red color?

ok so what brand aftermarket rear fender did you put on and does it match your existing front fender?  are they both the fluorescent red that came on that gen1 Hondas or other shade of red?

I have a 08 crf front fender and it matches pretty close, sadly I don't know who the rear fender was made by guy threw it in with a box of other parts.

Any year up to 07 on oem, your stem diameter, and fork tube diameter, offset, and width is the same as newer years 250.
Find one with rubber mounts, and just replace bar mounts with oversize model.
Only catch is 04-07 number plate mount is on top of clamp, instead of in front like yours.
So if you stayed with oem, wanted your number plate mount, but rubber mounted bar mounts to interchange I think you'd be looking at 00-03.
If you wanted a nice fork upgrade any year twin chamber Showa from newer cr will slide right in place of your forks. If you stayed with 03 down the caliper mount is same as well. If used 00-03 forks you'd need as well new wheel collars, or collar and axle. The left side is different on them, vs 95-99.
