Removed my skid plate off my 03 450f and noticed that alot of the noises from engine went away. Also I didn't have as much arm pump. Anyone else notice this. So what I did was go to homedepot and bought a bunch of orings and mounted them on the skid plate. Noises gone and not a much vib in the bike. Does anyone know if removing the skid plate all together would cause any problems. Or can I just leave it off?

The bike comes with a glide plate underneath, and a plastic plate in front to protect the oil lines from stones coming off the front tire. It should have at least the oil line protection.

The arm pump thing is in your head, you know.
