looks exactly like the engine out of a yamaha vmax . there pretty crazy , been around for 20 years though .

That's the all NEW Vmax engine, and the cylinder jugs kinda do look like our offroad cylinders.

Its true the Vmax was basically unchanged since 1986. The new 2009 is pretty insane looking!

Maybe downsize it a bit to maybe 900-1000cc's.

They dont make knobbies big enough to plant all that power. I had a V-Max,1991, with head and cam work. it would run mid 9's if you could keep the back tire from going up in smoke!
