Hello all, i found this YZ400F very close to where I live for $1700. It has a bunch of cool aftermarket parts on it! Is this a good deal?

It looks like a nice bike. Go take a look at if you are seriously interested. I just picked up a 1998 yz400f for 1400 and it is completely stock but in good condition. (girlfriend flipped out and doesn't understand why didn't spend that money on a ring for her but oh well) I would say it is worth it with all the add ons. However, for 1700 I have seen plenty of newer yz/wr 426 for sale.

thats too much. I bought a 1999 yz400f all tricked out this same time last year for 1500. So now that bikes a year older and 200 hundered more?? Plus i just sold a really nice 2002 yz426f for 1900. It was practially new because i took time and broke it down and "rebuilt" it. Depending on what you plan to do its a great bike. Really solid and reliable but too heavy for a motocross track to be competetive. If your looking for a fast play bike i would say no more than 1400 to 1500 for that bike.hope it helps.

I don't know. I bought a nice 2004 YZ450 for $1600. Runs like a champ, starts first kick, everything looks great.

It is all relative. If it is worth that much to you then it is worth it. Else not.

never done one of those before so i could not tell you. I believe it would be a good bike for that though. I just got a yz450f and to be honest the yz426f seemed to be a bit more powerfull . The 450 does jump much nicer than the 426 though... just my experience.

I wouldn't pay $1700 for that 400, there are better deals out there. Why was it re-ringed if the use is as low as they claim it is? I'd pass on this one, you can do better.
