FMF Q4 Muffler

Anyone tried this FMF Q4 mufflers before? Wanna use it on my 2000 WR400F!

How is the power performance using Q4?

Is it really quite?

Is the spark arrestor removable?

Loud pipes on the road gonna get me pulled over. So once I reached the woods/trail, will remove the spark arrestor and have fun ride blasting feel the power!

I'm running a Q4 and like it. It's not as quiet as I would like though. I wish I could get the stock sound level and still get the performance. I would like to have more of a turned down tip on it.

Not as loud as the not quiet pipes:excuseme: about the same as the stock with insert removed. maybe a little quieter.

I wouldn't worry about pulling the spark arrestor screen out. They don't make any noticeable difference in sound and power.

Hmmm... then what other aftermarket mufflers would you recommend to be use street legal? With a spark arrestor that can tame down the sound(quieter), and be removable to get more power/sound when go ride enduro/trails in the woods?

Many aftermarket pipes are available with a "quiet core" (FMF 4.1, FMF PowerCore, Two Bros) that is removable.

The Q4 is quiet all the time. There is nothing to remove to make it louder.

The Q4 is quiet but many other pipes make better power.
