what does the pipe do for the power? I'm thinking about getting that pipe, but wonder what it does? Power everywhere, more low, mid or top? I've not run DRD pipes before so not all that familiar.

I'm running a 2007 exhaust on it now.

It wakes up the lazy bottom end and gives a better midrange transition. translation -- you don't have to torture the clutch as hard when you exit a corner in 3rd gear. Not really sure about peak top end power because i don't really have a track where i can use it.

I had been using a 51 t rear with the stock pipe, and with the Dr D, i swapped back to a 49t --- so the top end should be better too, because it carries the gears better

in a nutshell --- the Dr D system does everything an aftermarket exhaust should do to an otherwise stock motor --- naturally, porting and a cam would take everything to the next level, but many people don't need that much more than stock
