That must be pretty unnerving, freestyle. Hope everyone is OK. My lil' bro lives in San Diego, do you think he felt it?

i dont think it was big enough to feel in san diego.it felt big to me because i live about 40 miles from a major fault line.i actually like earthquakes there fun and exciting.the long lasting ones are the best.then people have time to run out into street yelling and screaming.

I like the ones you can hear coming. A nice rolling 5 or 5.5 Sometimes you get 10 or 15 seconds of warning and it sounds like a frieght train coming down your road.

thats what im talking about only i prefer 5.7 to around 6.5 anything higher and i usually end up joining the screaming idiots running down the street.my dad was about 100ft from bay bridge on-ramp when the big one hit.he had just left to go elk hunting in Montana.he is diehard hunter because the bridge collapsing didnt even stop him.he just back down the wrong way on freeway on-ramp cut across the city and to the golden gate bridge.my whole family was freaked out.since, the goofball didnt even bother to call and say he was alright, until he got to montana 3 days after the quake.

What a choice...tornados vs. earthquakes.

I'll stick with tornados for the reason that you can SEE them (at least in daytime) and can be reasonably certain when they are done and gone.

That Waiting for the Next One stuff causes people to vote liberal :D :)
