You don't have to take off the carb. Take the clamp on the air boot off and stuff the nozzle of the air boot behind the frame. Play proctologist with a flashlight while someone twists the throttle. See how far the slide goes up. Trim some and try again. It doesn't take long.

I have a 2002 WR 426 she's uncorked, air lid has been removed and just this afternoon throttle stop has been trimmed from 30mm to 21mm. Front wheel comes up with now poblem. Unsure about the gray wire. Suggestions??
