We're in the final stages of getting everything set for the Tuff-as-Nails harescramble this year. (This is the race that went through a mobile home last year).
Details: Saturday, August 23rd.

Sign up starts at 7:00

First bikes out @ 10:00 (short course)

$35 entry, $20 for kids race

Where: Riverdale Raceway in Toutle, WA (riverdaleraceway.com)

This is an NMA ORP points race - but, of course, everyone is welcome to race

Free overnight parking

Hope to see you there. Any questions PM me

BTW - we aren't overlapping WORC's this year:naughty:

Too bad, that is the same weekend as the Rock N Roll Poker Run at Jones Creek that I must attend otherwise I would go.

Sorry for apparently ignoring questions - was out of town and away from a computer (kinda nice really) I believe the gate fee is $10 (that's Riverdale's deal - I have nothing to do with it).

So far as cliff's go, Wiz, - I haven't seen any but there will be things to fall off of!

New track? Oh yeah and more!

I never been to the Riverdale Raceway or a Tough As Nails Harescramble so I wondering about some of the other details. About how long will the short course be? Are there going to be class deadlines (as in you have X hours to complete X number of laps). Will the course mostly be on the motocross track or will there be some tighter single track?

The short course goes for 1-1/2 hours and you get in as many laps as you can in that time. Typically when a hare scramble incorporates an MX track it is just a small part of the course. The vast majority will be singletrack.

Lets make sure when comparing the cost to race we add up both the entry and gate.

Tuff as Nails $35 + $10 = $45
Mt. Baker $50 and NO gate = $50

Yes it is $5.00 more but not outrageous.
