Here's the question,
I'm trying to find a recommendation for the Best NW (Oregon and Washington) Riding Areas/ORV for Kids or beginner riders. My friend is coming up from SoCal with his two younger kids and while Reiter Road is great it's just not the most kid friendly.

So let me know what you think, pictures are very cool too. Thanks in advance, jb

Its a ways south but if your buddy is coming up from socal, I would hit Prospect springs east of Medford. Its kinda 1/2 way between.
Great area for kids, as there is lots of fun easy trails right by the staging area. Lots of roads to ride, not to busy, and even has cabins to rent only minutes from the staging area, and campgrounds.
Its also close to crater lake for some sight seeing.

I'm going to haul my kids over the the Bend area once it cools down. Lots of wide open stuff without the roots we have over here.

Are "they" cracking down on the minimum riding age requirement of 7 years old and the MSF training card over in central oregon. I heard they were beginning to write tickets on this.:thumbsdn: Anyone have info?

I wouldn't think they could write you a ticket for not passing the test since the test won't even be out until new years day. At least I hope not because I'm not going to stop my daughter from riding until they have the test ready.

Straddleline. There is a huge variety of riding for adults and kids. You can even walk over to the pee-wee tracks they have set-up and watch/instruct the little ones not far from the camping.
