Panniers?

I am doing a 3 day ride down in Baja without any chase vehicle. Does anybody have the hot setup for hauling gear other than a back pack?

Try these dog packs - Wenaha Explorer II Dog Pack or Mountainsmith Dog Pack (I wouldn't buy them from REI)

A friend that I ride with uses these on trips to Baja (I will be using them on our next ride). He glues velcro to his side panels and seat so they can be removed at the end of the ride. They don't seem to interfere with his riding at all.
