Im considering the performance improvement options, for my bike.

I have a yoshi rs2, mikuni rejetted carb,3x3, K&N.

I will be hopefully purchasing the FCR MX carb conversion, and was thinking of perhaps an added performance increase, ie buying a second hand head, perhaps getting it poilshed and ported and renewing with stonger valves, springs and Hot Cams, Is this the option you guys would go for ? or would a big bore kit with a standard head be the way to go ?
what sort of gains should I expect over both options ? many thanks.

skip the porting.

get a 94mm big bore kit and go with RHC valves and springs.
