I need to find a 40 and 42 pilot jet for my FCR39. I've been told the part number is Keihin N424-26 but I can't find anyone that just sells individual jets.

This is the only site I could find but their checkout process is broken. Any ideas where I can buy these jets?

Any Yamaha dealer can take care of you. Have the parts monkey look up the YZ mx bikes. You can also call Carb Parts Warehouse.

No offense intended but...In my book, once you have memorized every part number, understand the numbering sequence and know all cross reference bikes and interchangeably then you are no longer a parts monkey. No cruel intentions, but a true parts person emphatically knows the parts, not just where the fiche is located in the box on the counter. 99.99% of the time, the person at the parts counter has no idea where on the fiche a part is (and the manufacturers do not make it easy all the time, granted) or if another bike use the exact same part but with a different number.

It takes a long time to be good at parts, a lot of studying. Unfortunately, most dealerships are unwilling to pay for a great parts person. So most of the people behind the counter are parts monkeys. But they can evolve......

You can buy individual jets from Paul at Advantage cycle. I have bought tons of parts from him. Ships very quickly and very reliable. He also stocks FCR main and leak jets.

Oh, and one local Yamaha dealer didn't have any jets in stock and the other only had a #42.

If you are in the austin area, usually the best place to get jets if you need them quick is in Georgetown. Woods never has anything that I need. YOu can go to Central TX powersports or Honda of Gtown.

They don't stock leak jets, but they will have a small assortment of FCR pilots and mains.

Oh and an order from Advantage cycle usually takes about 3 days to get. He is closed on Sunday and Monday so if you order over the weekend you wont recieve until Thursday. You may have them by Friday if you ordered today. Just call Paul and he will let you know. He usually ships by USPS.
