I finally broke down and ordered an Athena 435 kit and Hot Cams stage 1 cams. I already have a TT FCR kit installed and a Yosh RS-3. Living at essentially sea level, after installing the cams and big bore, what am I going to need to do with my jetting?

I have been reading that the big bores need a smaller main jet than the stock bore. I currently have the bike jetted as recommended here: http://www.thumperta...ad.php?t=337250

Anyone, Eddie, have any recommendations?

I want to order any jets I may need ahead of time and install them while the carb is already off while I do the big bore install.

You will probably need to just bump up the main one size.

I was 155 main with hot cams stage 2. with the 436 i went 150 and that was too small. 152 seems perfect. Im @ 800 ft.

Why exactly would you not bump up your main? I know you know a whole lot more than me, I am just curious. That is what I had to do to get mine jetted correctly with my 434 kit.

A stronger intake vacuum pulse means more fuel thus a smaller main.

you do not understand how a carb works.

when more air is drawn thru it also pulls more fuel.
