Well, new to me anyway. Think I found a good deal on a used blue '06 DRZ-400S with only 531 miles! Comes with a nearly new set of D606s the previous owner mounted since he mainly rode on the local mountain trails. Left a deposit tonight since the bank was closed when I went to look at it. I'm dying to pick it up tomorrow!

Almost forgot, it needs a new battery since it sat so long, and one front blinker is broken (previous owner's wife clipped it with her car). Should I go factory replacement or is there better alternatives from the aftermarket?

Thanks!

i would go with the SSW Super Start Battery Kit and optional modified electrical charging harness for long term reliability.the stock battery is 85cca and the super start kit uses a yuasa ytz10s battery rated at 190cca.the modified electrical harness directly connects the regulator/rectifier to the battery for more charging power and less voltage loss.

Welcome to the DRZ club, hope you got a lot of room left on your credit card for all the mods you are going to do!

The battery is sh*t. If you start having trouble with it, get a new one and then baby it. When I bought my sm used I had to get a new battery and have been taking care of it as of late and haven't had trouble again.

We'll wait and see what an edmonton winter does to it though.

I read the article on that kit here on the site, but didn't see any purchase information. Where can I get that kit?

Thanks!

Thanks. I figured that would be the best way to go about it and PM'ed him about an hour ago.
