I bought my Z with 4k miles last Dec 22nd. Along with the Kouba Link, it has a Suzuki gel seat. Since I bought my bike in December, I had no idea what it would do to unsuspecting ass cheeks!! :excuseme:
The gel in that seat works like a heat magnet, it soaks it up fast, and holds onto it for a long time! I had my bike parked for about 45 minutes in the sun, it was about 102F that day. I had about a 50-60 mile ride home. I had to stand up on the pegs for about 5-10 seconds at a time to give my ass cheeks a break. That seat was scorching hot  The seat stayed hot for at least 15, if not 20 minutes. I rode down the freeway, probably looking like a damn jack-in-the-box :smirk:
My wife is a dental assistant. I got two of those blue-green colored towels that they clip around your neck when they are doing a procedure. They tuck really nice under the ends - edge of the seat and keep me from having "hot cross buns".
I do like the seat, makes the long runs more bearable.
Anyone else notice that their gel seat holds the heat? :excuseme:
