So I'm out on the trail yesterday in 95 degree heat, riding through a tough woods section... Get the back tire on my YZ400 hung up on a large step-up with tree roots and rocks. Manage to stall the bike trying to get up and over, and right after it stalled, I hear a high-pitched whine coming from the motor or radiators which lasted for about 3 or 4 seconds. Gave it some time to cool down after that and it was fine the rest of the day. Any ideas? Engine overheating? Clutch overheating? Never heard it whine like that before...

My guess is it was venting cooling system pressure.
