I too have the same problem

The other day I was trying to climb a hill. I had to go real slow due to the terrain. Once I got to the bottom of the hill and hit the gas the motor bogged down and died. Twice....

Check your jetting and check your accelerator pump linkage. The pushrod on my 426 was gummed up and not moving freely, which caused it to bog. After cleaning it the bog went away for the most part.

If your idle mixture circuit isn't correctly set, you may experience some bog. An aftermarket adjustable fuel screw should take care of this problem by allowing you to adjust it easily. I usually have to make minute adjustments depending on the temperature and humidity.

If you want to get really picky you can try adjusting the accelerator pump timing and duration. If you search the forums here, you'll see many threads on how to do that.
