hi guys

just wondering if there would be a negative result of shortening the silencer on my wr400... it has a hitashi pipe on it... which doesnt do much in the way of silencing but anyway.. its freaking huge... was thinking of shortening the can to make it look a bit neater and tidier... like my KX250 does... hidden nicely behind the side plate and out of view.. would the result be of power loss form?? or just more noise??

cheers
Linton

It might loose some top end power but may gain some bottom. Shorter usually produces more bottem and longer more top.
