i just looked it up on the wr450 and wr450 specs and they look they same to me... don't take my word on it though.

you should just try and see what happens unless your trying to buy something

ya, i am trying to buy a head pipe, on-line.
i just want to know if a 03-05 450 header will fit my 99 wr400.
i am pretty sure the 426 will fit.
thanks!

The 426 pipe will definitely fit, as for the 450, I've heard of people using 426 headers on their 450, so a 450 pipe should fit a 426 and therefore a 400.

Old thread, but sort of related.

Will a 2000 YZ 426 header fit my 2002 WR 426?

The P/N are different, but they look awfully close.

And, while we are on the subject, anyone know why a 2002 WR426 header is 500.00?

Thanks,

Mark

they all interchange between the steel frame bikes
A quad head pipe will work also
Its shorter in over all lenght but it will fit
A 500 dollar pipe is probably made of Titanium

Thanks, I found an unused 00 YZ 426 exhaust with shield for 75.00 so I'll snap it up and maybe find someone who can use the can, I assume that it won't fit...
