1998 wr 400 carb problem

hi guys i have recently done a full rebuild on my wr 400 1998 frame and engine after 1 hour of riding my bike stopped and locked up :ride: :bonk: :lol: stripped down head to find part of my throttle valve had broken off and passed intake valve to lock up in cylinder


1 have any of you guys heard off this b4
2 has anyone got a spare carb or throttle valve to sell

Standard issue on the '98 WR. Buy a pack of new throttle valves (they are going to crack on a regular basis). Or buy a later generation FCR carb the nearest breaker. Better still, go for an Edelbrock carb (one of the best mods to these bikes).
