im thinking about having my gear shifter lengthened, size 13 boots dont go under it very well. i think its aluminum, wouldnt be too much of a chore. cant find an aftermarket one that is longer. anybody done it? not sure how much to add.

Have you tried lowering your footpegs? It will accomplish the same thing without increasing the travel of your shift lever. Just cut the barrel off the bottom of each footpeg and TIG weld it back onto the top. Make sure you get it welded properly of the mounting pin will bend or break.

I assume the rest of you is in proportion to your feet. You will like the increased leg room.
