2007 Rear Sprocket

Where I ride the most has several corners where 1st gear is too low but 2nd is just not quite have enough. I am thinking about putting on a 51 tooth rear sprocket. Is the diameter of the 51 tooth that much more that links in the chain have to be added or anything needs to be changed other than the sprocket? 2007 YZ450F with 13/49 gearing currently.

The 51 should be usable with the standard length chain.

I realize an older post but.... Yes the standard length chain will work with a 51, I just installed one 2 days ago.
