I am changing the oil in my forks and am wondering if I should fill the oil the the regular level or change it to make the forks work better for my weight and riding. I weigh 175 without gear and ride only trails...usually rough single and double track.

The recommended range is 150 - 85mm from the top of the compressed tubes with the spring removed and the damper rod compressed.

Your weight is in the normal range for the stock springs, and for trail riding, I would try it at 140-125.
