I have a 2008 YZ450F without a manual, is manual YZ450FW ok to use with the 08 bike?

For the most part, it should be the same.

This is my 1st thumper and just fill stupid about the maintaince, such as oil and filter change. So this manual should cover it? What does the "W" stand for?

The '08 manual will be available eventually. The '07 (YZ450F(W) ) manual will accurately show all of the normal maintenance items.

Can you tell me if the carbs are different from 07 to 08.

I believe there are some slight differences in OEM jetting, needle, etc., but you would know that by comparing the specs in the manual versus what you have.
