What is the difference in engine parts for yz and wr 450 03 model?
I see a lot more things for sale to yz 450, so just wondered if there were any differnce.

for example a big bore kit for yz 450 will that fit a wr 450?
main bearings and so on? gasket sets??

thanks

Frode

In a nutshell, rod (I'm not sure about the crank), piston, cyliner, head, clutch clutch cover, water pump and such are the same. Cases magneto and cover are a bit different due to the electric starter. Exhaust cam is different (timing), tansmission is different (4 vs 5 speed, and ratios) Carb is slightly different (ACV). Will a YZ big bore kit work? Yup.
