Hey guys do you have a site dedicated to trial bikes mostly. I think they are really cool and would like to look into getting a cheap one to see if I like it. But I am having a hard time finding one here in florida. So I was just wondering if there is a site you guys hang out on so I can look at it.

Thanks
Tom

I lucked out and got my Beta thru e-bay. Some TTers have their bikes listed in the classified section. Also look at Motosoup.com

When you are actually ready to buy, try finding a trials event within driving distance. Bring a truck and CASH.

Hi Tom
Check out our web site: Florida Trials Association http://www.floridatr....net/index.html sometimes bikes are in the classifieds. You might try calling Chuck Walker-his number is listed in the officers section. He is a dealer for Sherco and Beta and often has used bikes available. Come out to Croom June 1rst for our end of season fun trial. Might be a couple of bikes for sale. Most sundays we are sweating it out at Croom.

We will start at 10:30am. Riders meeting is at the picnic pavillion on the north end of croom. The loop will leave from that area, bring a croom-stickered bike and follow the white FTA signs. Should have 6-8 sections. Come on out. We are able to ride the areas that aren't just whooped out sand. We also ride at Hard Rock in Ocala.

Hey Scott,
I'll do my best to make it out as well. I have just not had much to to ride the Trials bike.
Roketa36, I may be interesting in selling 04 Beta 250.
Cheers
John Hardiman
PS : Brooks Duncan has a Trials bike for sale as well

I wish I could afford your bike right now john but I am paying for my law enforcement school in hopes of getting into the FWC. So I am alittle broke right now lol. I was Told you can buy a beater that will run ok but looks bad for 500-1000 is that true. That is more what I would be looking at for right now if I bought one.

Trials bike actually hold their resale value. Trials is gaining popularity finally here in the US & maybe as the bike #'s increase you may find better deals. There,s a Beta on Craigslist for $1500-00. You're welocme to come out & ride my bike anytime. The Trials community is an the most helpful bunch around. They make competing fun. Go to an event, take your bike with ya so you can ride around & follow the riders. If you want to really learn how to ride a bike...trials will teach you that.
Cheers

Hi John. I am going to try to make it to croom on the 1st. I will be riding my dirt bike so I can come see you guys ride. I dont know what you look like but if you see a lowered ranger with a 06 Rm250 pull up its me lol. If I am there already I have a sticker that says four stroke this with a guy on my front number plate. So please if you see me come up and say hi lol. Hopefully I can come up with some money soon or find one at a good deal. Thanks for responding and being so kind.

Good sites for buying a trials bike are Motosoup, Craigslist, and e-bay. Past that, while not actually advice on where to buy, but rather what kind of bike would be a good buy for the price, I would suggest either a Honda Reflex or a Yamaha TY350. You'd have a bunch of fun with either, they're both pretty indestructable, and you should be able to find a nice one for what you've got to spend. In the case of the Reflex, most clubs have a twin-shock class that rides the novice lines. As for the Yamaha, while it is air-cooled and has drum brakes, for beginner and early novice riding they make a great bike.

Try http://setrialsrider...rm/f/8956022531 . They always have bikes up here. Also, the GasGas site has a long list of used bikes for sale as does Ryan Young Products.
