I went to find what they put the tow rating for my Tundra (I already know but, I was just seeing what they put it at). There wasn't a listing for tundra:excuseme: I guess that mean it's limitless:eek:

Ahh.. Well.. I know it's the 5.9L CTD.. just gotta find out what gears are in it.. Maybe I'll climb under the rear and look for a tag.. or can't I take the VIN # into the dealer and get a print out of what options it came with..?
Thanx for the help..
ps. I knew it had to around 12k

Dealer should be able to tell you the axle ratio from the VIN number. Instead of copying it off the dash, just grab your registration or insurance card.

Found this-99-07 tow ratings in PDF form: http://www.heartland...ow-ratings.html
A quick search showed that several RV and Boating sites use a similar looking tow rating search, and they're all down.

Guys, we don't/can't read every thread on the site. So, if there is a busted, featured link, click the report post button for the post in question:

Thx.

Hey everyone. I saw a number of posts saying that other tow guide link was bad. I have a Tow Guide page on my site, because I rent campers to the public.
Just go to <a href="www.coloradocamperrental.com">Colorado Camper Rental</a> and click on the FAQs page and then the Tow Guide page. Choose your vehicle year, and it will download a .pdf that has the tow ratings of 95% of vehicles on the road.
We have six campers that allow people to haul their motorcycles with them. The Fleetwood Evolution 2 rocks for one motorcycle, but the campers with gear decks on the front end up increasing the tongue weight dramatically. The Scorpion 2 has a 9' x 7' deck that can haul two quads, and the deck is right over the dual axle frame, so the tongue weight isn't overloaded.
Anyway, if anyone has a question about campers that haul toys, don't hesitate to email us. Happy to help in any way.
