I am trying to get the idle right on my 08 yz450f. do you guy go right for the fuel screw or do you mess with the silver knob on the side of the carb? the bike seems to idle high when warm when i am sitting after acouple laps but when i start to move again and grab the clutch the bike wants to stall. any help would be appreciated.

Is this idle curiosity?

The fuel mixture screw is up in a hole in the bottom of the float bowl. The process is covered in section 2 of the manual. Most of us prefer to replace the stock screw with an extended one having a knurled knob to make it more accessible.

The big silver screw is the idle speed adjustment.
