I just picked one up this morning (along with an 84 yz 125 and 2 79 yz 80's)

the bike runs but it needs a few items, i am going to go for a semi restoration as the bike will be ridden,

I need

an 1st over bore piston, head gaskets, front +rear fender, seat, petcock seals,

It runs amazingly well on 80 psi compression!!

Hi,

I am restoring a TL125. (On hold for now)

Learn the Honda parts codes. Many parts are from other motorcycles.
Any part that is xxx-355-xxx is a TL125 specific part.
http://www.kaila.net...25partcode.html

Pistons, side panels, and countershaft covers are hard to find.
If you find extra parts, let me know.

The piston and rings were shot on my TL125.
Pretty much rebuilding it from the ground up.

Also, check the "Hod rodding a SL100" in the Vintage forum. Lots of good info there.
