Ha...I think everyone in this forum "just bought" a new battery...Myself included...And with the free power mod and the new WestCo battery it does turn over my 470 with Stage 1 (non compression release version) Hotcams...But man does it struggle...Which is why I was one of the first takers on Eddies new kit...I can live with the extra pound (Lord knows I could make up for it by losing about 30 myself)...

This sounds like the better way to deal with big bore starts and lack of compression release.

I just got a fresh Yuasa stock replacement and mine starts like a champ.  When this battery gets weak...i'll go this method.

Great work once again Eddie.

Well, I give up on my stock battery--dead again.  Maybe my tender is defective.  Could it be the higher-output H4 bulb I put in?

Anyways, had to grab a coworker to help me push start my bike to get home, so my order's in...

Thanks, Eddie.

Test your charging system and do the free power mod.  Betting you have an issue.

Eddie was asked that in a thread where he posted pictures of a bike with SSW stickers on it.  He mentioned that something was in the works to sell just the stickers but haven't heard anything else.

Im on my third year on my stock battery, and it barely turns the bike over now....... im ready for a new. My question though is the same as Kman a few pages back.  What about the wiring harness? I suck at eletrical (i can't even spell it) Is it something that we could buy in addition to the battery and box?  and stickers would be awesome......hehe

even if i make a harness,(which i can) it will still require the buyer to make connection on their own.

Hey, those who have purchased and installed: please post review so the Ed man can get the kudos he deserves.
