Well, Sunday was a sad day at my house. I have been aquiring bikes faster than my the wife unit has been comfortable with and she said a few of them needed to go. I have always rode 2 smokes and at this particular time I have 3 of those and the yz400f. so.... the 400 sold sunday. I cannot tell you guys(and you know who you are) how much i have learned on this site. I was able to talk the guy who bought it all the right ways to start, ride, maintain, and what to watch for. All the stuff the guy i bought it from had no idea about.

dude.... just tell her seniority wins over beauty, and that she's just too young to understand that more motorcycles are better.

lol, i've been with chics older than her, and i'm 19. nice catch. my reasoning is you should always go for 24-26 year olds, no matter what age you are.

I think the confusion is entirely his fault, Jay. When he gets older, things will clear up for him. He may even realize that women over 28-30 are preferable to girls under that age. ?

Bummer about the 400. Couldn't you have bought her a car or some furniture instead?

Hahahaha...Hate to bust your balls, but I have it the opposite way...My 24yr old girlfriend works at Del Amo Motorsports, comes home and is like, "Hey, we just got in this used CR, you should check it out, looks hardly riden and is maxed out" (pipe, suspension, damper, triple clamps, asv, etc.)...And I'm like, "Dammit baby, I'm happy with the bike I have, I'd rather just put money into that!"...?

already bought the car.... grand prix gt.... she has plans for furniture with the big tax check from uncle sammy... i think what put her over the edge was the enclosed trailer also. i have been a little expensive this year.

i would not take my wife. After all these years of getting her trained no way i would start over.

Other than not having a hot young horny girlfriend who rides 250 2 strokes, and 450 thumpers with ease, works at a motorcycle shop, and gets 25% off all parts, I'm sure your life is much more complete/satisfying than mine...

Actually true. I've been married twenty years and married mine when she was 19 (me 27). Their emotions aren't all over the place when they are older and of course there are other benefits of a woman nearing 40. :ride: again.

Yeah, yeah...tell yourself whatever you have to...But a horny 24 year old, who rides, and doesn't mind camping in a tent, kicks butt over a horny 40 year old that wants a new car!:ride:

Trust me I've tried both (was married for 13 years)...

Funny thread.... worthwhile and interesting: young vs "experienced", and different lifestyles: motorcycles can teach us so much about L-I-F-E. Good stuff on perspective and how we're all motivated to accomplish different things different ways: keep it comin'!
