GYTR Ti shock spring?

Does GYTR actually make different spring rates of their titanium shock spring like what came stock on my 06' YZ450? Looked on the Yamaha site and it didnt show any... ?

You can call a yamaha dealer and they can look it up on the computer. If they offer different rates, it will be under "frame" "alternate" for the 06. There are several companies who do make the Ti springs in various rates. That would be much cheaper than an oem spring. Yamaha wants like 500 or so dollars for one.

They aren't GYT-R parts. The alternate springs are right in the main parts catalog, like Todd said. They're also very expensive.

Here is what I got from the suspension forum>>>

The shock spring is a 54N/mm which is a 5.5 kgf/mm

The manual says 5.5 is STD

There is a suspension guy here that has some Ti springs that may want to part with them..I also have the stock 5.5 that has one ride on it
