I feel stupid asking this, but here we go. Just got my T4 slip on exhaust for my 2001 YZ426F. My question is about the clamp between the header pipe and the tailpipe. Is it needed on this? I assume not since its a smaller diameter, but i thought i might as well ask. Thanks..

If the mid pipe is slotted at the front where it slips over the header, it needs a clamp. If it is not slotted, no clamp is used.

It would not very likely use the OEM clamp, either, and if no other clamp was supplied, odds are you don't use one.
